Alison Maitland is Management Writer for the Financial Times (FT) Group. She joined FT in 1986, and has worked in a variety of roles, including European news editor, food and agriculture correspondent and most recently management feature writer. She started in journalism working for the Liverpool Post & Echo, and she worked subsequently for Reuters news agency in London and Paris. Maitland graduated from King's College, Cambridge, with a degree in Social and Political Sciences.
