Qudssia Akhlaque

Qudssia Akhlaque is a Pakistani freelance journalist who writes for The News, Pakistan's leading national English language daily. She is also a contributor to Gemini and Inter Press Service. She holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication, was a special correspondent with The Nation for nine years, and worked on the Chicago Tribune for six months under the Alfred Friendly Press Fellowship Programme. She is also an internationally-published photo-journalist. Her first exhibition, Pakistan: Land and People was held in Washington DC in 1992. During her time at Wolfson she did a comparative study of India and Pakistan from a development perspective.
